TCE Comparison Reports were discontinued as of Fall 2019 with the shift to the Student Course Surveys.

All current and historical reports are held in the UAccess Analytics database.

From there you can access:

  • SCS Report
  • SCS Comment Report
  • TCE Report (statistical information)
  • TCE Comment Report (open-ended questions)
  • TCE Comparison Reports (formerly the TCE short report).*

Detailed instructions: [How to Download Comparison Reports Guide]

The SCS reports are released to Analytics following grade posting. SCS reports are released weekly on Mondays.

The dates for the SCS open survey period can be found in the SCS Online Tool Suite in the 'Ready for SCS selection', 'Completed SCS Selection', 'Problems preventing SCS selection', and the 'Currently/Recently in Progress' manager function options. The dates are listed in the left-most column in each selection.

Orders must be completed the day before the SCS open survey period begins. Please keep in mind any changes to instructors, and course information must be completed in UAccess at least 3 business days before the evaluation period begins.

Instructors can ask their department SCS contact to add questions to the SCS. If you do not know who your department contact is, please contact Becky Pérez (

Department contacts can add questions by creating a template and applying it to the SCS surveys. Only one template can be added to an SCS survey with a maximum of seven additional questions. There is no limit on the number of templates that can be created.

The same URL is used for faculty, staff and students: The system will route visitors to the appropriate tabs.

If comments are missing from a SCS report and a report was generated, please contact the OIA (

When the TCEs were administered using paper evaluation forms, the comments were separated and returned to departments for distribution to instructors. Analytics only holds comment reports for online evaluations.
